Course Description

This 1-day course explains the purpose of the Core Tools and their role within the new product introduction process.

The content is delivered through a series of presentation slides, combined with participant activities.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, a participant will understand:

  • The purpose of the Core Tools
  • The link with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
  • The link with quality management system requirements such as IATF 16949, AS9100D and AS9145

Multidisciplinary: This course is appropriate for project and engineering managers, process owners, design engineers, quality engineers, internal auditors, sales engineers, and other personnel who are involved in the introduction of new products/processes, and contribute to the APQP and PPAP process
