The CQI and IRCA Certified QMS course – FD116  is the pre-course requirement for the PT236 – Practitioner Level Internal Auditor course.  The FD116 course will teach you the requirements of ISO 9001 Standard, the eight quality management principles and the process approach .

This Foundation course is for learner in particular requiring an introduction to the ISO 9001 family of standards.

CQI and IRCA Certified QMS Auditor courses will equip you to assess the conformance and performance of an organisation’s quality management systems.

This Foundation course is for participants requiring an introduction to the ISO 9001 family of standards, especially those involved in the design, implementation and management of a quality management system (QMS). Successful completion of this course is one of the requirements for certification as an Internal Auditor on IRCA’s QMS Scheme.

On successful completion of this course, participants will have the knowledge needed to:

• Explain the purpose of a quality management system, of quality management systems standards, and the business benefits of improved performance of the quality management system
• Outline the structure and content of ISO 9001 and its relationship with ISO 9000
• Explain the specific quality management related requirements of ISO 9001

On completion of this course participants will be awarded a CQI & IRCA Certified Foundation Certificate.
