The aim of this Lead auditor training course is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of quality management systems against ISO 9001, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021, as applicable. Participants who complete this CQI and IRCA Certified Lead Auditor training course successfully (within the five years prior to making an application to become a certificated auditor) will satisfy the training requirements for initial certification as an IRCA QMS auditor. This Lead Auditor training course includes a 2 hour examination and submission of coursework and audit reports.
The Lead Auditor training course is designed for those who wish to become a lead auditor – it is recommended that delegates have at least a couple of years experience in carrying out internal audits and be familiar with the ISO 9001 Standard.
